Ernestine Marge Eason Blackburn, 66, a native San Diegan, passed away May 16, 2007 in La Mesa, CA. She was a devoted wife, mother, aunt and friend, the one who was always there to support and encourage you. Ernestine was born in National City, CA, March 2, 1941. Ernestine graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and minors in History and Psychology. She was active in San Diego Red Hot Hatters and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Ernestine is survived by her husband Jack; two children, Jerry and Jackie; son-in-law Jim; sister Betty and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at Christ Church Unity on May 23, 2007. |
